Who knew?

I recently found out that Avon does not allow Independent Avon Sales Representatives to link their web site on personal blogs, FaceBook, MySpace, or other social networking page, etc.

I have seen hundreds of places where Avon web sites are linked illegally..but I don't want to get my title removed..I have worked way too hard. So I am removing my link to my Avon website.

*Update*: I discovered this while I was reading the Avon reference guide(and making some phone calls to Avon)..I was looking for the correct wording to use in a {Help Wanted} ad in a local newspaper..and there it was in black and white. I do realize that my blog is private..but rules are rules. I am currently a President's Club Member and also a Unit Leader with two generations under me..I just don't want to risk that.

It is has been 12 days since I last posted.
I have been busy with Izabelle's homeschooling, band competitions, work, etc. A friend I started a new Networking Group..to help build our business and to help others build their businesses. It is going very well!

Here are some photos of Mattie wearing a birthday outfit from her Aunt Sherri. (photo taken 9/21/08) She did not want her picture taken..obviously..but I got some good ones after Rich came outside with us..she wanted her daddy..obviously. The first photo cracks me up..

Photo#4 taken this morning..Mattie playing with her Leap Frog toy from Yaya..in the nude..she does better with potty training when she runs around in her "birthday suit." When she goes pee in her potty..she says, "That's great..two gunny mama." I give her gummy bears when she goes potty in her potty. P.S. She pooped in the potty for the first time last night.

Photo#5 this is the white milk glass hen that my Aunt Susie-Q bought for me this summer when she was visiting..I LOVE it!!!!

Some teenage students from Cumberland Co. were sitting behind us during competition..they thought Mattie was adorable..so they played with her almost the entire time..they dressed her up too!

The first competition of the school year..

MJHS won State Championship last year/2007 in marching band competition. Trae is wearing a brand-spankin' new uniform..the students are so pumped!

Make a wish!

My father is 56 today.
We celebrated a little early this year since he was here for the weekend.
Yaya made the fantabulous birthday cake that we are still eating on. Trust me I won't let it go to waste..ha!

We only put 1 candle on his birthday cake..because I didn't want to end up with this:

So the birthday boy and Guelita should make it home today..home sweet home..they left on Sunday afternoon. I hope you are enjoying your day today..happy birthday to you..cha-cha-cha!

The last 3 pictures were taken Saturday night(9/6/08) while Guelita & Izabelle were making chicharones. I will have photos explaining about those on Izabelle's blog..soon..I promise! But anyhoo..dad was acting goofy..so I captured dad..just being goofy..too funny!

First day of school

Today..Izabelle started the 5th grade.
We completed the first lesson in Spelling & Poetry..she is thrilled to have a {Spelling List} to study and know by next Monday..not! We completed the first lesson in Arithmetic..mainly review..so thankful for that..I am so not ready to shed sweat and tears quite yet..in a few weeks..maybe I will be ready *wink*
So..after all her work was complete..I treated her to DQ..she totally deserved it! Before that though we stopped at a nearby park to take "first day of school" pictures. I love my sweet girl!
