{Weather} update

Mattie is feeling much better..thanks everyone for your prayers:) She hasn't had Motrin or Tylenol since last night..and she is fever-free. Rich really panics when she is sick..I do too..I just try to stay calm..he thanked me the other night for staying so calm..he said it helps him cope much better..he is such a sweet man.

I finished more lo's!
I did the first one last night while everyone was asleep. "First Job" I contacted Hardee's today..and someone will be contacting me of when the original grand opening was..so I can add it on the journaling. I was working there when it first opened..I just can't remember the dates.
The second one..I completed today. "Fairy Godmother" It is a picture of me and my aunt Cherry..I was 6 years old..it was right before her wedding on October 21, 1978. When I was born..she agreed to be my godmother..should anything happen to my parents.

BTW..we have AIR! The A/C tech. came out today and fixed the 1 unit that cooled the middle floor and den that wasn't working. Our bill was only $120.00..so very thankful about that!

Under the weather

Mattie started spiking a fever around 7:45p Monday evening..it got up to 103.5..we have been giving her Motrin and then chasing it with Tylenol a few hours later..you know the routine..if you are a mom. This morning about 6:00a we gave her another dose of Motrin..and it lasted all day..I thought she was better..then around 3:00p she spiked another fever..102.4
She seems to be feeling better tonight..as you can tell..she is playing {nigh-nigh} with her Tubbies:)

I am thinking it might be her teeth..but if she still is running a fever tomorrow..I am going to take her to the pediatrician.
Please say a prayer for her before you go to sleep tonight:) Thanks!

When I am washing dishes..she brings me her bottle or sippy cup and wants me to wash it. If anyone brings a drink into the livingroom..she will bring them a coaster to set their drink on.

That's all I can think of right now..I will add to the list if I think of more.

It's a miracle!

I completed 2 layouts.
I had this first one posted last night..but decided this morning it needed some fixin'.
I almost messed it up to the point of it needing to be "destroyed"..so I decided to leave it alone.
I removed a rub-on..with one of those ugly adhesive erasers. Not good.
I know we all have ripped up a lo..so I hear. I just hate doing it.

The second layout..has me puzzled.
What do you do with a b&w photo?
I looked for ideas..but obviously found nothing.

So this makes a total of 4 completed..for 2008.
I don't know what is wrong with me..but I can tell you this much..it isn't from the lack of supplies *wink*

Red Crocs & Blackberry Pockets

Hello!
I hope you all are enjoying your Saturday..wherever you are. I am sitting on the couch relaxing and enjoying the breeze from outside..I have all the windows open and the ceiling fans are on. I can hear birds singing, children laughing next door..including Mattie yelling "Hi!" from her royal..one-story..baby-gated..deck. She is so friendly. I can also hear the sound of a hammer and the cordless drill..I think {Handy Manny} must live across the street from us:)

Got some cute pics this morning of Mattie and the famous {Red Crocs} and her chit-chatting on my new Blackberry. I think she is pretending to talk to her Papa. My dad left on Wednesday afternoon..but Mattie still wakes up looking for him..and calling for her Papa.

I feel the urge to scrap..maybe I will make my way down to the den in a little while. If I accomplish anything..I will let you know..ha:)

P.S. Gotta go sanitize my cell phone..Mattie just found a new "pocket" for it..ewwwwwww!

Birthday dinner..

Yumm! This is my free birthday cake..they even sang "Happy Birthday" in Italian to me:)
This was the first time I had spent my birthday with my father since my 10th birthday. We had to think back a bit and figure it out..but that is what we decided. I am very thankful to have him here with me for my 36th.

My super-duper sweet hubby sent flowers to me today..they were on the porch when I got home from the airport.

Hey..Aunt Susie-Q..the b.v. in the Italian butter was the bomb!

Something that is making me giggle right now:
Mattie is laying next to me..she still has her red Crocs on..and she is asleep. She loves her Crocs and refuses to take them off, even for bed time! Silly girl:)

I am 36 today!

I have celebrated 17 Mother's Days..just a thought in my head right now. Isn't that amazing!

I have white..not gray..WHITE hair coming in all over my head..they won't lay down like the rest of my hair..they stand straight out..alone..they are as stiff as crafting wire..yea I know..right?

My father will be here this afternoon..he is passing back through on his way home to Texas. I can't remember the last time I spent my birthday with my father. I am thinking my 9th birthday?

We had an early celebration on Sunday..since Rich has to work all day today

*Oh..it started raining during the game..so they covered the field with tarps..until the rain passed. *I think I caught Rich with his mouth full of hot dog..or he is coming down with the mumps..ha!(in the second photo)
