Trae's {surprise}!!

So {the secret} has had both Rich & I just itching to tell Trae..but we have been good for almost 3 weeks! We found a great deal..then we did several things to get it ready to present to Trae..steam cleaning the interior, new tires, oil change, wax & buff the paint, new stereo..etc. So yesterday we couldn't stand it any longer..Izabelle, Mattie & I had lunch with Rich yesterday after my morning Avon meeting..so Rich drove Trae's surprise home..I contacted Trae (that was supposed to be participating in Marching Band after school) told him that I needed to pick him up ASAP..so we got home..Trae had no idea that Rich was home..Rich parked Trae's surprise in the garage..backed in so he could see the front of it first..anyhoo..I told Trae that I was having trouble with the garage door..and that he needed to stay outside by the door & I would go inside and try to open it from inside the garage..so he agreed. Rich & I were giggling so hard in the garage..so then I asked Trae..are you ready..I am going to try to open the garage door...he said Ok. Well when that door opened & he saw that Black 2000 Ford Mustang sitting there..he was speechless..I remember him asking us at one point..is it mine?..we said..well yeah!

Rich pulled it out of the garage for Trae..Rich had it parked a little sideways in there..so that Trae could get a great first view of it.

Wow!! What a day..Rich & I are so excited for him..I was in tears..I was so thankful that we are blessed to be able to do this for him.

{May} contest

Another fun contest! Our choice of theme..must include ribbon, flowers & journaling. Izabelle calls dandelions after they have turned fluffy..{Wish Blowers}..it made me smile when she first called them that..so we found a large area that was filled with {Wish Blowers} and I took lots & lots of pictures of her just playing with these things.

Tooth Fairy, Eggs, Laptop & Noggin Bumps

Let's see here..Saturday night for my birthday dinner @ Red Lobster..Izabelle lost a tooth! One of her $225.00 teeth that was capped..oh..less that 6 months ago..the dentist told me that she wouldn't lose these teeth until she is atleast 12..well she just barely turned 10..lets see how long the other one stays in? So..the "Tooth Fairy" left $6.00 for her tooth..man I remember getting like "change"..as in like dimes, quarters! Gosh times have changed.

My dryer hasn't been working well..I have to dry for 2 1/2 cycles in order for everything to get dry..so I am wondering if the birds that make a nest..every Spring..in my dryer hose has something to do with it? The vent is on the outside of the house..right above my deck & the birds know how to lift the flap and come in..they have been doing this for almost 5 years now..so..Rich checks it out yesterday & over half of the dryer hose was a bird nest!! No wonder..my clothes weren't drying! So we found lots of eggs..we dropped some on the laundry room floor trying to get the hose outside..and man the stink they produce..Rich was gagging..poor thing! Here is one that I took a picture of..anyone know what kind of bird lays this color of egg??


Rich asks me what I wanted for my birthday..Saturday night @ dinner..I said a laptop? He said O.K.! I said seriously..he said if that is what you want..we will go get one. I have been looking at these things for a few months now..studying & watching prices. No more window shopping..my new laptop will be here Friday!

Mattie's "first" noggin bump..she was playing on the hardwood floor last night and she was already close to the floor and turned and smacked her head {front forehead} on the floor..ugh!..I felt so bad..Rich and I put ice on it..the bump was more turned in and the size of a pea..but it quickly popped out and it looks good this morning. Bless her heart..I know you can't prevent all accidents but I wish somehow I could.

So this was our weekend in a nutshell! I did leave out the part that I was in training all day on my birthday from 8a-5p..learning how to do beauty/color make-overs and teach clients proper skin care & suggesting the correct skin care regimen..so I would love to practice on some of you..anyone game?

{Our} youngest child is now..{9} months..gosh..time is going by too quickly..but I try to look at it like this..it won't be long until we are trying for #4..then we are done..for those of you that just said to yourself.."What are they thinkin'?" We have names already picked out..we have had the boy named for awhile now {John Paul McCabe}..if it is a little girl..{London Siddalee}...yes, her name is from The Devine Secrets Of The Ya-Ya Sisterhood...well part of it.
So..Mattie had a check-up today @ 1:30p..and guess how much she weighs..go ahead & place your bets now..Ha!
22 lbs. & she is still 29 1/2 inches long..I thought for sure she would be like 25 lbs.
They wanted to take blood..to see if she is anemic..I reminded them..they told us no shots this time..the nurse says..this isn't a shot..we just want to draw her blood..I said..oh..no..anything to do with needles piercing the skin..is a shot in our vocabulary..and I reminded her that Mattie's color is fine..and that I doubt that she is anemic..the Dr. later agreed..NO BLOOD DRAWING.
I just took these pics..Mattie is wearing an A.C.T.G.F. Original..with cherries on it! I love this dress! Dr. J loved this dress also..I think she is partial to Mattie..she just seems like family to us..I have used her for Trae, Izabelle & Mattie..she is a wonderful Dr.

Scrappy Tutorial @ Doris's..

..and I was the only one tonight..I kinda liked it like that..'cause I had her all to myself! Doris is so gifted..I really enjoyed listening to her..explain how she thinks and the way she sees things..and I understand now what she means by using the white cardstock to begin a l/o..I learned bunches tonight! Little "G"..is so so so adorable..this is the first time I have really been around him for a long period of time..I think he has a huge vocabulary for his age.
Anyhoo..I haven't finished the journaling {top right}..but I do have it in my head..{Doris if you are reading}..{she is very gifted in that department also..she has a great imagination}...but I am working hard on getting "stuff" together for my yard sale on Saturday 8a-1p..the entire subdivision..well hopefully most of us..will be participating..I will have a drawing for a free necklace..on my Avon table..so come on out and register for the drawing!

To post or not to post?

Online Therapy:
So..I cried myself to sleep last night..you know the kind of crying where you have gallons of tears & the throat jerking..I usually have small episodes that last for about 5-10 minutes..and then I am fine..but last night I created a l/o using a photo of when I was an infant (that I will post at a later date)..and..when I was finished..I just sat there and stared at the photo of this baby..me..and I wondered did {she} hug & kiss me as a baby?..did {she} feel..how I felt..when my children were born?..did {she} tell me that {she} loves me..as a baby?..did {she} enjoy waking up in the morning..looking forward to seeing my little face?..the photos I have of {her}..when {she} was pregnant with me & when I was small..{she} never had a smile..just look of disgust..was that because of me?..I wonder..I know that I cannot change who {she} is..and my life is so much more peaceful without {her} in it..but it is so not normal..people tell me that when {she} passes..that I probably will have a nervous break-down..gosh..I felt like I was having one last night..I wonder..will I be relieved..to the point that {she} is no longer around..for me to want to call when I miss {her}..or will it be worse..knowing that {she} is gone..and that I can't?
My friend Maria..tells me to write my feelings down..I think she meant on paper though..thanks for the suggestion Maria..it is helping. Big hugs *sigh*.

Today...I took Izabelle to Cinco De Mayo..just to get the whipped cream shoved in her face..there was a Mariachi band there that played a couple of songs for her.

I did this layout today using Scrap It! April kit..I love..love..this paper!!!!

Good Morning & Another *Birthday*!!

So..Mattie decides to get up @ 4am! She drinks a bottle then wants to play..Rich just left for the gym..and Mattie & I are down in the den/scrapbook room and she is playing in her Jumperoo..so I am listening to monkey/jungle music as she jumps! What a great way to start your morning!
I just checked to see if the May JBS kits were sold out yet{'cause they usually are by now}..& they are still available..soooo...I bought one & I bought the Limited Edition Kit..can you say A-D-D-I-C-T!?? *wink*

Today Izabelle turns {10}! We are taking her to the Rainforest Cafe this evening with a few of her friends..she is excited! We are going to pick her cake up this morning @ 9:30a. Everyone wish her a {HAPPY BIRTHDAY}!!!!!!!!

Weekend..before..last..{while celebrating Trae's birthday}..Izabelle & I decided to get into one of those photo machines..we decided that *goofy faces* would be fun..so..here ya go. Tammy asked me if I was going to put this on the blog..I said probably not..but Izabelle talked me into it..she loves it!
It is 12:47 am..I am up waiting for the May Poppy Ink Kits..I have a membership..but I still want to see what I am getting in the mail..besides..I enjoy looking to see what Doris has new on the gallery!
JBS May Kit is b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l but I have the Poppy Ink Kit coming{so no JBS May Kit for me this month}..& I just bought both {April} kits from Scrap It! ..I kept seeing all these beautiful creations using their April Kits & I just had to have them. So I will pick those babies up in the morning!
