Jon Paul 1-14-09

Here are the ultrasound photos from the 14th. I don't know why I didn't scan them earlier for you to see? The first one is our first 3-D photo of inside the womb ever..I didn't have this done with the other 3. Very cool!

I had a dream night before last night..Wednesday night to be exact..I had a dream that I had already given birth to him. My step-father (John) and his wife came to visit from Oregon and I had stepped out to go the the store real quick and my dad was holding Jon Paul when I left. Well when I returned I came in the door and saw my dad still holding him and I remember looking at Jon Paul like it was the first time that I had ever seen him! I studied every detail and took him in my arms and snuggled him. Also I remember that he looked a lot like my dad..step-father..I know that isn't possible..but he was just the most beautiful baby I had ever seen!
So I told Trae and Izabelle about the dream last night before class and Izabelle's mouth hit the floor! I said, "What is wrong?" She said, "I had almost the same dream..it was very similar!" Weird, huh?

Have a great weekend!

Mattie cake-cakes

I made cupcakes last night. Mattie ate one..because that was all she needed. She was bouncing off the walls! So after I got the rest of them frosted..she climbed up on the teacart and was trying to sneak another:) She says, "Oh look at the cake-cakes!"

I tried to make certain nights a certain meal, like Monday, Thursday and every other Sunday. Every other Friday night..Trae and Izabelle leave for the weekend and it's just me and Mattie..so soup and grilled cheese made sense. Then the other Friday's are spaghetti night. I left Tuesday's and every other Wednesday open for new recipes. I have a gazillion recipe books but never use them..so Tuesday's will get interesting..I am sure:)

Let me know if you would like a recipe for something..I will post it as soon as I can:)

Enjoy your weekend!

P.S. I found a recipe for Monte Christo Casserole in the Spring/Summer 2001 Pampered Chef Season's Best book on page 12. I love, love, love Monte Christo sandwiches. But I will have to make it on a day that it is just me, Rich & Mattie (and my MIL because she love these sandwiches also). Maybe a Saturday night? Trae and Izabelle won't touch this stuff!

Also..just found a recipe for Pamesan Pepper Pull-Apart Bread found in Spring/Summer 1999 Pampered Chef Season's Best book on page 11. Instead of ordering garlic-parmesan rolls from Publix..I could make this! Can you tell I am having fun looking through cook books today?

It's time for pictures..don't you think?

In no particular order~

Mattie's first head full of pink sponge curlers..gosh these remind me of when my grandma Pulley would put these in my hair after my bath on Saturday night for church Sunday morning.
The reason for even more curls that she already has...Mattie was baptized on Sunday, January 11, 2009 @ 11:00am. St. Stephen Catholic Church. Godfather: Randall Michael LaFaye Godmother: Irene LaFaye (aka Yaya) Yes..I recently converted to Catholic..more about that in another post? :)
Baptism photos coming soon to a blog near you!

Wednesday 1-14-09 before the ultrasound appointment. Mattie was bound and determined to open the goody box this time:) She said, "I open Aunt Cheeeeery box."

After the awesome goodies were discovered..like this pink hat..her new favorite! Izabelle got a beautiful dress and everyone got Hershey bars..yummmmm!

5 months (Photo taken January 15, 2008 at 6:30pm..I was so tired and still had two hours of RCIA class from 7p-9p..but had a good time)

4.5 months (Photo taken December 31, 2008)

4 months (Photo taken December 13, 2008)
From left: my mother, Papa (82), great-aunt Ocie (88) and me.
Have a wonderful weekend!
