Izabelle-isms

Setting: A couple of days ago...@ breakfast {I had already ate my breakfast & was at the kitchen sink cleaning up}
Me: Izabelle..get that cat off of the kitchen table..you are eating..honey!
Izabelle {real seriously}: But Mom..it is breakfast time with Izabelle.
What was I supposed to say to that? {I ended up just grinning and saying..sure O.K.} Honestly I do run this house..I swear.



I pluck my eyebrows at the kitchen table..there is just better light in there..so I left my make-up mirror out on the k. table all day the other day..the kids played with it off and on...looking at themselves in the mirror that magnifies your face A LOT..anyhoo..Izabelle is looking at her face in the mirror and gets tears in her eyes..and gets this look in her face like OMG..I asked her..What's wrong?..She yelled out loud..I am growing a mustache and a beard...I laughed so hard I nearly peed myself! I told her we all have little hairs on us..she thought that was disgusting!






Mattie's A.C.T.G.F. outfit yesterday...{Question for family}? Does she or does she not look just like Tommy Pulley in them overalls! I have to send this photo to Papa! I think it will make him laugh. Mommies little {hillbilly}..Ha!


Took this pic today while she was in her playpen...it turned out kind of cute for having mesh in front of her face..her little face is so sweet!

Yes...you are seeing this picture correctly...yes..Izabelle is in the playpen with her baby sister..I haven't seen Izabelle do this yet...guessing it is the first time?...Izabelle stayed in there for about 1 hour with Mattie...they both laughed...giggled...laughed...& giggled somemore.

Tonight after Rich got home..{Mattie is in to grabbing your face and then yelling/screaming..} she thinks it is hilarious!!!!!!

My favorite memory of winter is....

1976 in West Branch Michigan..my father built an igloo for me..isn't it awesome!!! Yep..that is me..let's see here I was {4 years old}. Today on Jann's blog she asks what our favorite winter memory is..you need to visit her blog and see the picture of her favorite memory..WOW!

B-I-N-G-O!!! Izabelle won the first round of Bingo tonight..thank goodness..she doesn't lose well at all..she is very competitive!

We {Me, Trae, Mattie & Izabelle} went to O. Mills Mall Friday night..and..I picked up the new Quickutz Revolution! @ 20% off..what a great sales-lady that Tammy is! Then we had our usual...Auntie Anne's Pretzel's with cheese dipping sauce..yumm-eee


Today...Izabelle attended her {first} scrapbooking class @ The Sassy Scrapper in M'Boro..she has waited -forever- {according to her} for this day! She really enjoyed herself..she met some new girlfriends..and learned how to make Valentine cards!
Yep...A.C.T.G.F. sent this outfit..she looked very Valentine-y in it!
We stopped on the way home and took some fun pics! Poor little thing was freezing {the wind was chilly} but she smiled anyway and humored her mother. Ha!

I saw this idea in Creating Keepsakes magazine..it doesn't tell you how to make it..but I really wanted to make it for Izabelle's Valentine Part{ies}..so finally I figured it out..it wasn't too complicated.

Circus Of Dreams...

....was this years Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey's circus theme. Mattie's 1st circus..and she was really..really good..I usually try to post these things in order..but not tonight{I mean this morning} geesh! It is almost 1am..have I lost my mind..{Don't answer that}!

Sweet little story:
A couple of days ago..{Monday}..I was getting a little bit of make-up on so we could go visit my friend Tracy so she could help me fill out some business forms..anyhoo..Mattie was listening/watching her little aquarium..and Izabelle made up some words to go along with the song..she was singing to Mattie: Jesus come into your heart..Jesus come into your heart..Jesus come into Mattie's heart dear Jesus..Jesus come into your heart..How sweet!

Yesterday:
Izabelle spotted the UPS truck outside..so she ran to the door & opened it..before the UPS lady even had a chance to knock. The UPS lady said: "Is this package for you?" Izabelle said "Yes!..It is a package for P: and J: from the Goody Fairy!" The UPS lady just grinned.

Mattie's outfit for today:

Oh...Mattie is officially M-O-V-I-N-G in her walker! She loves it...we have it down in the den/scrapbook room..so there are no stairs to fall off of..she just rolls wherever her hear desires..she is so funny!

She found her feet and she loves them..they are always in her hands..makes it hard to get her dressed and change her panties. Silly girl...

We went Kroger-ing last night...and this found it's way into the grocery cart..those kids can be so sneaky..I guess they really enjoyed the play on Sunday..they watched the DVD as soon as we got home last night after TKD.

..Purse. I took this class last night at The Sassy Scrapper in Murfreesboro. Too cute! You can change it out for any season..it has a little mirror inside the lid to check your make-up! I still need to add pictures to it..then it will be complete.

These pics taken yesterday morning when the girls were still in there P.J.'s..rrrrr..I didn't get a pic of Mattie yesterday in an A.C.T.G.F. Original..She had on a red onesie {turtleneck} with Pooh & a snowman on the front with a pair of blue jeans. But they are both wearing A.C.T.G.F. Original P.J.'s!

Mattie loves to pull Izabelle's hair now..every chance that she gets!

{7} out of {10}..wow!

I have 10 african violets and {7} are blooming..this has never happened before..I was waiting for the 7th one to open for the last few days and this morning..there she was.....

..her little bloom opened..I was so excited..like a newborn baby/bloom! I love my african violets..I would like to have more..but..no room for them..I need another shelf near the window for more..because they love the morning sun..and they do not like to be moved..at all!

We managed to catch "Annie" after the play and get a pic with her! I wanted to get her to hold Mattie..but Mattie was getting very sleepy...the play was 3 hours..Mattie was very good but had had enough at this point..poor sleepy baby.

The play was awesome!! I love plays..I guess you either are the kind of person that likes them or you don't..thankfully my children have always enjoyed them..since they were little. My little brother, Freddy...acts..he is very involved in theatre in Del Rio, Texas..I have never seen him act in person..but I have seen the recordings..and he is very talented..I am very proud of him!

Old Navy Baby

Yesterday Izabelle went on a field trip to Kid's Party Jump in H'ville. She had a lot of fun! I failed to get pictures..'cause..I was busy chatting with other moms. Maybe next time!
Next Friday we are going to the Saturn Plant in Springhill..that should be fun!
Last night I went to my Aunt & Uncles house in Franklin..me, Mattie & my Aunt ended up eating at Texas Roadhouse..yum yum..their steaks are incredible! My Aunt & I talked until 11pm..Mattie was being so good!..we got home..Mattie had another bottle and went right back to sleep..she slept until 7am..she had poopy panties & was hungry..so I got her into some clean panties & fed her a bottle and we both snuggled and fell back to sleep & we both slept until 11:30a!! Whoa!! I am very rested today! Tomorrow: me, Rich, Trae, Izabelle & Mattie are going to see "Annie" at Pope John Paul II
Mattie sits up pretty good..for a 5 month old..and she loves to sit on your lap while you are at the kitchen table, computer desk, etc. because she loves to bang her hands on whatever you might be sitting at..she is so cute!

class tonight. This was so fun to make..and look how beautiful it turns out..this is the coolest thing I have ever seen!

Mattie had a big day today! She had bananas for the first time today with her cereal..that went well..also she found her tongue! She has been sticking it out all day..then this afternoon she started making motorboat sounds..how cute! She has kept all of us laughing all day today!

This is Mattie & daddy last night..she was still awake when he got home. We didn't get home until 9:30p or so..we hung out at {COOL} Renee's house!

Oh..today Mattie also held her bottle all by herself..during all 4 oz. Wow! She has done so much in one day!
