There's no place like home...
Our New Year's Day ended with a visit to the E.R...Mattie had been sick with some drainage..then it turned into a cough with wheezing on Saturday..I was really nervous about how she sounded.. so..Rich & I decided not to wait until Tuesday to see the doctor...we just took her to the E.R...That turned out to be a good thing! She was in distress..her oxygen levels were low and she was diagnosed with infant bronchitis{can't remember the proper term..not much sleep last night}..She was given {2} breathing treatments right away in the E.R...then she was admitted into the hospital around 7:30pm last night..so they could keep close watch on her. We were released around 7-ish tonight..Mattie owns her very own breathing machine and has to take treatments at home for wheezing..the doctor thinks maybe that this could be hereditary..I had to spend time in oxygen tents and have breathing treatments as I child. Thanks to: Jennifer, Renee, Aunt Cherry & Miss Betty for your support...it wasn't easy to see our little Mattie feeling so yucky..and thank you for your prayers..love you all so much! We are glad to be home.
Going home! Yaaahooooooo!

Oh poor Mattie! I'm so glad you took her into the hospital. There is nothing like your infant being sick and they can't tell you what's wrong. How scary! I 'm glad you are home and know how to deal with this now.
So sorry to hear Maddie under the weather! So glad you're home now! It's so scary when your little one can't breathe and tell you how they feel! Jeremiah had RSV when he was an infant and I slept with him on my chest for about 3 nights so I could be right there and listen for his breathing...will say prayers for her speedy recovery! Happy new year!
oh man...you were in the middle of all that when I talked with you...I really wish there had been something that I could do to help ease the way everything gets tied up in knots in the middle of your life when something like that happens. Will be praying for you and Miss Mattie!
Poor baby!
Was it Bronchiolitis?
Oh Jill....I wish that there was something I could do for you. I hope that Miss Mattie is feeling better.
Hey Jen:
Yea..that is what it is:Bronchiolitis..thanks for refreshing my memory! Not enough sleep will do that..Hee Hee
So glad our little Mattie is

I bet that little bear hat she

Poor Baby Mattie, I hope she is feeling better... I always hated it when mine were small and couldn't tell me what was wrong... Take care.. T
PS. Yes I got your mail about the Avent Calendar. Thanks
Poor Mattie! I'm so glad she is better.
poor little mattie.
renee told me she was in the hospital and I said a prayer for her.
I too have been there and done that. As a matter of fact, I have been giving Hayden breathing treatments for the past couple of days but Dylan was my "go to the hospital" child. He had to be in an oxygen tent too.
I am glad she is okay now and you are home!
You really need to feel free to call me, any time day or night if you have a question that you think I might can help you with!
