Corned Beef & Cabbage is on the menu for dinner tonight. I add potatoes while cooking the cabbage. I recently introduced Rich to this dish..and he has decided that he likes the corned beef but still won't eat the cabbage..Trae has even started eating corned beef..wow..3 out of 5! I will introduce it to Mattie tonight..maybe we will have 3 out of 4:) Izabelle will just have to eat her old standby: Chef Boyardee Spaghetti and Meatballs..picky little eater..she is.
Update! I am Irish (sort of)..who new? My Aunt Susie-Q is "da bomb" with this ancester stuff..she studies our family (on my father's side/DePugh)..she has soooo much information. She is always surprising me with stories:) Thanks..Aunt Susie-Q for this photo..xoxo

Grandpa DePugh loved corned beef & cabbage. I remember Grandma making it for him many times. Your Irish heritage on the DePugh (Pew) side: Your gg grandfather, Thomas Pew married Margaret Ann Rose who was from Ireland. I have a picture of them that I will email to you.
