Dad Rocks.

I fixed Rich his "annual breakfast in bed" on Father's Day.
Breakfast burritos with egg, potato, bacon, cheese and "rooster" sauce.
We got him a new wallet and his very first dad t-shirt. He is very proud of that shirt.

We celebrated the holiday at Rich's mom and dad's house. One of Rich's brother's and his family were there also. We had a great time. For an appetizer we had mom's homemade salsa with chips. Dad grilled BBQ chicken, mom made some green beans that were cooked with bacon and almonds..they were GOOD. We also had potato salad, rolls, and I brought some baked beans.

Gram..she is so excited to be turning 97 in October. She says, "I hear they give you money when you turn 100..have you heard?" She is so cute. I told Rich we need to put 97 one dollar bills in her birthday card this year..she would get a kick out of that:)

Mom made a Father's Day cake that was layered with fresh strawberries and topped with homemade icing. Oma's secret recipe..yummmmmmm! Mom used a photo from last October 2007..right before the guys went to a Titan's game to celebrate Ron Sr.'s (Rich's dad) 70th birthday..that's the ONLY reason Trae is on the cake:)
